OneTrust Implementation Lead – Remote

About the role

VeraSafe is seeking a remote OneTrust Implementation Lead to configure, implement and maintain OneTrust platforms for its privacy and data‑governance clients. The role bridges legal, compliance and operational requirements with practical system workflows, ensuring effective and consistent use of OneTrust across projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of OneTrust modules and related workflows.
• Translate business, legal and compliance requirements into practical OneTrust configurations.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and external support.
• Support privacy operations through OneTrust workflows such as assessments, data mapping, consent, DSARs, and vendor/privacy reviews.
• Advise on privacy and data‑governance processes to ensure they are workable, consistent and aligned with client needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting and platform adoption.
• Manage implementation workstreams from requirements gathering through launch and post‑launch improvement.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders during implementations and enhancement projects.
• Coordinate across legal, compliance, security, IT and operations teams to keep projects moving.
• Create and maintain implementation documentation, process maps, training materials and internal guidance.

Required profile

• At least one OneTrust certification.
• 3+ years of experience in privacy operations, data governance, compliance operations, legal operations or SaaS implementation.
• Hands‑on experience implementing, configuring or administering OneTrust.
• Strong understanding of privacy, data‑governance and compliance requirements.
