Operations & Facilities Coordinator

About the role

Alter8, Egypt’s first holistic fitness centre, is looking for a proactive Operations & Facilities Coordinator to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of its medium‑sized facility in New Cairo. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, maintenance and vendor management, as well as overseeing the coffee and protein corner.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily facility inspections, maintain checklists and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Supervise a small housekeeping team, schedule cleaning activities and monitor supply inventories.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and lighting systems, managing contractors and service providers.
• Source and manage suppliers, obtain quotations, monitor inventory levels and support procurement activities.
• Oversee inventory, ordering and stock reconciliation for the coffee & protein corner.
• Liaise with mall management to ensure compliance with health, safety and audit requirements.
• Prepare regular operational reports and maintain documentation of maintenance requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facility or operations management, preferably in a fitness or wellness environment.
• Experience supervising housekeeping staff and coordinating external service providers.
• Strong organizational abilities with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent communication skills for internal coordination and vendor interaction.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and lighting systems maintenance.
• Familiarity with inventory management and procurement processes.
