Part‑time Remote Graphic Designer for Food Social Platform

About the role

Pleny, a fast‑growing social network for food lovers across the MENA region, is looking for a creative Graphic Designer to shape its visual identity. This part‑time remote position will focus on producing static graphics for social media, paid campaigns and in‑app experiences, ensuring the brand resonates with food‑enthusiastic audiences in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Design eye‑catching social‑media graphics, including posts, stories, carousel slides and reel covers for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and X.
• Create high‑performing static ad creatives for Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat, optimized for A/B testing.
• Produce in‑app visual assets such as promotional banners, onboarding screens and other UI elements.
• Maintain and evolve Pleny’s brand identity, guaranteeing consistency in colour, typography and layout across all markets.
• Adapt designs to local cultural trends and language requirements for Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
• Collaborate with content, product and marketing teams to brainstorm concepts, develop mood boards and deliver assets on schedule.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio showcasing social‑media creatives, branding work and modern typography.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related field.
• Excellent eye for colour theory, visual hierarchy and food‑centric aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Illustrator.
• Deep understanding of Arabic and English typography, including Right‑to‑Left (RTL) design principles.
