Patient Support Program Manager – Egypt

About the role

The Patient Support Program Manager (also called Patient Care Lead) ensures patients receive timely, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey. Acting as a trusted advocate, the role removes barriers to care, coordinates services, and guarantees compliance with program standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enrolment of eligible patients, ensuring adherence to workflow and timelines.
• Maintain accurate patient files and electronic records, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Accompany team visits to healthcare providers, pharmacies, and support sites to implement programs.
• Oversee medication delivery, ensuring patients receive treatments without delay.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to new team members and sub‑ordinates.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related field (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience in healthcare, NGOs, or related scientific environments.
• Experience in data monitoring, logistics/supply‑chain coordination, or customer service management.
• Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours (Sun‑Thurs).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Axios’ Patient Management System (PMS) for all program activities.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance reporting and adverse‑event handling.
• Strong administrative and quality‑assurance capabilities.
