Payroll Supervisor

About the role

Trillium Montessori House in New Cairo is looking for a Payroll Supervisor to oversee the monthly payroll process and ensure accurate, timely salary payments for all employees. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the monthly payroll process and review and verify payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, leaves, bonuses, allowances, deductions and salary adjustments.
• Ensure payroll calculations are accurate and comply with company policies and applicable Egyptian labor laws.
• Oversee employee payroll records and keep them accurate, confidential and up to date.
• Monitor attendance and leave records and coordinate with HR and school administration to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage payroll-related taxes, social insurance contributions and other statutory deductions in line with regulations.
• Review final settlements for resigned and terminated employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in payroll operations, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience handling payroll for a large workforce; experience in the education or preschool sector is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, salary structures, compensation, benefits and final settlements.
• Good understanding of Egyptian labor law, income tax regulations and social insurance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRMS/payroll systems; experience with Menaitech is an advantage.
