People Transportation Lead

About the role

The People Transportation Lead will drive excellence in personnel mobility for Holcim’s operations in Suez. You will be responsible for safe, efficient fleet performance, contractor oversight and compliance with health‑and‑safety standards while supporting continuous production shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and Holcim/Lafarge safety policies.
• Produce monthly safety reports, lead investigations of major incidents and develop improvement action plans.
• Monitor contractor compliance with technical, legal and financial requirements; ensure vehicle lifecycles remain within 3‑5 years.
• Oversee 24/7 shift schedules, guarantee seamless handovers and zero‑minute delays.
• Map, audit and control fixed pick‑up points, prohibiting unscheduled stops on high‑speed routes.
• Manage light commercial vehicle fleet, conduct aesthetic and mechanical quality audits.
• Collaborate with plant H&S teams to track progress against HSIP targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing personnel transportation or fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of health‑and‑safety regulations and ability to lead safety culture.
• Experience supervising contractors and handling compliance audits.
• Analytical mindset for safety data reporting and incident investigation.
