Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Maadi)

About the role

El Ezaby Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join its community pharmacy in Maadi. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and compliance with Egyptian pharmacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines accurately.
• Review prescriptions for correctness, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide clear counseling on dosage, usage, and possible side effects.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, check expiration dates, and ensure proper storage.
• Assist customers with product recommendations and support health‑awareness initiatives.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to maintain a safe, efficient, and customer‑focused environment.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution and eligibility to practice in Egypt.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and prescription validation.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle high‑volume settings.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and collaborate in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software and digital record‑keeping.
• Competence in using standard office applications.
• Ability to manage inventory and documentation efficiently.
