Pharmacist – Full‑time, Cairo

About the role

Zikry Pharmacies is seeking a qualified pharmacist to join its Cairo team. The position is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on accurate medication dispensing, patient counseling, and maintaining high service standards in a busy community pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and verify prescriptions for safety, legality, and accuracy.
• Dispense medications and provide clear counseling on usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, ensure proper storage conditions, and handle stock replenishment.
• Process sales transactions, manage insurance documentation where applicable, and handle cash responsibly.
• Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the pharmacy.
• Respond to health‑related customer inquiries within the scope of professional practice.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure consistent quality and safety compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD with a valid Egyptian pharmacist license.
• Professional experience in community pharmacy is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage forms, and over‑the‑counter products.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic; English proficiency is a plus.
• Commitment to ethical practice, reliability for shift work, and willingness to learn new procedures.

Required skills

• Experience using point‑of‑sale tools.
• Basic computer application skills for record‑keeping and prescription processing.
