About the role

Malvern College Egypt is seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join its thriving department. The role involves co‑teaching with colleagues and leading specific groups to support the school’s comprehensive coaching programme. You will inspire students to engage actively with PE and sport while contributing to a holistic educational experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a role model, inspiring students to develop a lifelong interest in physical activity.
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the departmental scheme of work.
• Assess, record and report on pupil progress and attainment.
• Manage time effectively and pursue continuous professional development.
• Contribute to a broad extracurricular programme, including coaching and officiating sport teams.
• Teach according to diverse educational needs and maintain discipline per school procedures.
• Ensure a high‑quality learning environment and uphold safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Relevant degree or qualification in Physical Education, Sport Science, Education or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching PE, ideally within an international or British curriculum.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and student safeguarding.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal abilities.
