Planner – EPC Projects

About the role

Archirodon, an international EPC contractor active for more than half a century in energy, marine, infrastructure and defence and security projects, is looking for a Planner to join its team of engineers in the Regional Office in New Cairo, Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in preparing the tender schedule, contract baseline schedule and revised schedules with the project team.
• Prepare progress monitoring sheets for each phase and discipline and run periodic schedule updates.
• Update the Progress Performance Curves and Key Performance Indicators with the Project Controls team.
• Flag deviations from the plan (out-of-sequence work) and help implement corrective actions.
• Record daily progress and prepare daily and weekly site reports.
• Assist the Project Controls Manager with monthly reports, project budgets and planning records.
• Follow project controls processes and company policies, assist in claims and variations, and carry out other related duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a reputable university (e.g. American University in Cairo, German University in Cairo, BUE, Arab Academy for Science and Maritime Transport).
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of construction planning techniques and project controls and management tools, and basic financial concepts.
• Nice to have: previous experience with leading EPC contractors.
• Organised, detail-oriented, analytical, problem-solving and good communicator.
