Planning Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning, scheduling and coordination of large‑scale residential and urban development projects for Gleeds. Based at the Red Sea site, you will ensure that detailed project schedules are created, monitored and delivered on time, working closely with project, design and construction managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Review and approve contractors’ detailed schedules, work breakdown structures and project plans.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and construction teams to integrate activities across multiple packages.
• Prepare regular reports, forecasts and resource analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
• Analyse delays, support extension‑of‑time claims and work with contract administrators.
• Mentor junior planning engineers and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of planning and scheduling experience in the construction industry, preferably on residential and urban development projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
