About the role
The Planning Section Head leads the planning team within the Projects Control department, ensuring that infrastructure and industrial projects are delivered on schedule and to quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, review and maintain detailed project schedules and baseline programs.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays and approve mitigation strategies, including Time Impact Analysis and EOT claim assessments.
- Lead planning meetings, resolve scheduling conflicts and report risks to senior management.
- Coach and mentor planning engineers, standardise methodologies and drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8‑12 years of planning experience.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
- Strong leadership, decision‑making and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent English proficiency.
Required skills
- Primavera P6 (Advanced) – mandatory.
- Power BI – mandatory.
- Microsoft Office suite.
- AutoCAD.
