Planning Team Leader – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Team Leader to join our New Cairo office and support large‑scale construction projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will lead a team of planning engineers, develop robust schedules, and ensure project delivery aligns with contractual milestones and company goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage the planning team to deliver accurate schedules on time.
• Develop, review and maintain baseline, recovery and detailed execution schedules.
• Monitor progress against approved plans, perform critical‑path analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards and executive presentations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, commercial and site teams to ensure alignment.
• Review manpower, material and equipment requirements to support planning activities.
• Analyze performance using KPIs, earned‑value techniques and other project‑control metrics.
• Support tender planning with preliminary schedules and resource‑loaded programs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and internal planning procedures.
• Participate in progress meetings with internal stakeholders and clients as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and team performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 8–12 years of planning experience in the construction industry.
• Minimum 3 years leading a planning team or supervising planning engineers.
• Proven experience on large‑scale building, commercial, residential or infrastructure projects.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
