POS Software Support Specialist

About the role

The POS Software Support Specialist works directly with businesses that rely on point‑of‑sale systems for daily operations. You will help clients resolve issues related to sales transactions, inventory management, and system usage while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and resolve support tickets via email, chat, and other digital channels.
• Assist customers with POS‑related inquiries and operational questions.
• Troubleshoot basic computer and network problems.
• Diagnose and resolve POS system issues.
• Install software updates and patches.
• Provide remote support when required.
• Follow up with customers to confirm successful issue resolution.
• Maintain and update user documentation and support materials.
• Gather customer feedback to improve support processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in restaurants, cafés, retail stores, or similar operational environments is highly preferred.
• Experience using or supporting POS systems.
• Practical understanding of inventory management, stock control, and back‑office operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow up on issues and ensure complete resolution.
• Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends when required.
