Power Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Power Consultant to join our Customer Projects, Solutions and Services team in New Cairo, Egypt. The role involves delivering high‑impact power system assessments, designs and audits for a diverse client base, combining technical expertise with customer insight.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and prepare accurate quotations to support profitable growth.
• Develop functional design specifications and provide chargeable design advice for electrical networks, protection and earthing systems.
• Perform power system studies (load‑flow, fault level, protection coordination, harmonic analysis, transient stability, motor starting) and produce detailed reports.
• Conduct power quality and harmonics monitoring, delivering compliance reports.
• Carry out detailed electrical network audits on complex process sites and present findings with recommendations.
• Support sales, tendering and project execution teams with technical expertise.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7‑10 years of relevant experience in design, protection or power systems engineering.
• Strong commercial knowledge of the customer base and business drivers.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Proficient with PC, Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
