Principal AI Solution Architect

About the role

Avenga is seeking a Principal AI Solution Architect to shape and govern enterprise‑scale AI, automation, and low‑code solutions. You will define architectural standards, reusable patterns, and technical governance across multiple delivery teams, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with Responsible AI principles.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain technical architecture standards, reference architectures, and shared components for AI and automation projects.
• Review and approve solution architectures before development begins.
• Lead design reviews with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Pod Leads, and Data Engineers.
• Drive architecture decisions across AI, low‑code, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Embed security, data governance, and Responsible AI principles into every solution.
• Support production readiness, release activities, and transition to operational support.
• Contribute reusable architectural assets and best practices for multiple delivery teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing enterprise‑scale architectures for AI, automation, low‑code, or intelligent digital solutions.
• Strong expertise in integration architecture, API design, orchestration, and enterprise system connectivity.
• Solid understanding of Responsible AI frameworks such as the EU AI Act or Microsoft Responsible AI Standard.
• Experience leading technical teams across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication skills to explain architectural decisions to engineers and senior business stakeholders.
