Principal Finishing Engineer - Architectural

About the role

The Principal Finishing Engineer will lead all finishing activities on construction sites, ensuring work complies with approved drawings, standards and safety regulations. You will provide technical guidance, allocate resources and coordinate with other trades to deliver high‑quality architectural finishes on time.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor finishing works according to drawings, methods and safety rules.
• Allocate manpower, materials and tools required for execution.
• Lead site personnel to achieve schedule targets and coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams.
• Interpret construction documents, ensure compliance with standards and provide engineering support.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental standards for all civil and architectural staff.
• Attend client and consultant meetings, communicate progress and resolve issues.
• Prepare daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and other project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in finishing works for large‑scale projects such as malls or hotels.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, standards and regulations.
• Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and detail‑orientation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
