Procure to Pay Officer – Purchasing Specialist (Oil & Gas)

About the role

We are seeking a Procure to Pay Officer to join our Oil & Gas Services team. In this position you will manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities, support strategic sourcing, and ensure smooth supply‑chain operations in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project specifications and company standards.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders, track approvals, acknowledgments, deliveries and facilitate timely payments.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless supply‑chain flow.
• Participate in price comparisons, quotation analysis and negotiations under senior guidance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation and support logistics, inventory control and order fulfilment.
• Monitor supplier performance, assist in vendor evaluations and ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Support invoice processing by verifying accuracy, matching to POs and receipts, and resolving discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field; Master’s/MBA from a ranked Egyptian university is a plus.
• 2‑3 years of proven experience in logistics and supply‑chain management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISCP or CSCP are preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, proactive problem‑solving and ability to work in a team.
