Procurement Buyer

About the role

As a Junior Procurement Buyer you will support the selection and acquisition of products that match the brand and customer expectations. You will conduct market research, analyse trends and negotiate with suppliers to build an optimal assortment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders, track and expedite deliveries to ensure cost‑efficient, on‑time supply.
• Support commodity strategy by maintaining a list of preferred suppliers and identifying new sources.
• Search for standardisation and improvement opportunities across categories.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance and report results.
• Identify stakeholder requirements and assist in execution.
• Negotiate local contracts in collaboration with procurement managers.
• Develop and apply negotiation strategies with suppliers.
• Forecast demand, evaluate inventory levels and determine purchasing needs.
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms to achieve best value.
• Bid, award and administer project supply orders.
• Conduct cost‑management analyses to identify reduction opportunities.
• Perform routine supplier business reviews.

Required profile

• 0–1 year of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong understanding of purchasing contracts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic negotiation abilities.
• Good market knowledge and ability to work across functions, businesses and regions.
