Procurement Management Expert – Production Facility

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Procurement Management Expert to support its production facility. The role focuses on maintaining supplier data, optimizing material planning, and ensuring reliable delivery of components for automotive wiring systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate supplier and article master data and support integration initiatives such as localization, consignment, and logistics agreements.
• Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) results, process supplier orders, track deliveries, identify bottlenecks and escalate shortage risks.
• Ensure optimal raw‑material stock levels, proactively reducing excess inventory and obsolete stock.
• Coordinate ordering and timely delivery of new components to support technical changes.
• Develop regular contact with suppliers, conduct performance reviews and foster strong business relationships.
• Support stock‑take and cycle‑count activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Identify and report supply‑chain risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or material planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (formulas, data analysis, tracking tools).
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) logic and inventory control.
