Procurement Specialist

About the role

ValueTech is expanding its supply‑chain operations across major industrial projects in Egypt. We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage end‑to‑end purchasing, logistics and customs processes, ensuring timely and cost‑effective material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Create and issue purchase orders through the ERP system, negotiate pricing and confirm availability with international suppliers.
• Coordinate shipping and freight forwarders, compare transit options, arrange pickups and resolve freight issues.
• Handle customs clearance by registering shipments on MTS/NAFEZA, preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Work closely with Finance for payments, duties and cost analysis, and support Sales with delivery schedules and technical documentation.
• Maintain digital and physical shipment records, generate performance reports and evaluate suppliers, freight forwarders and clearance agents.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, logistics or supply‑chain roles, preferably in an industrial or engineering environment.
• Familiarity with international shipping terms (EXW, CIF, C&F) and customs/banking procedures.
• Strong coordination skills across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with an ownership mindset.

Required skills

• ERP system experience – specifically Odoo.
• Customs portal usage – MTS and Nafeza.
