Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will oversee the end‑to‑end purchase order cycle, ensuring that materials and components are sourced efficiently and delivered on time. You will act as the primary liaison between internal teams and suppliers, with a focus on manufacturers in China, to support short‑lead‑time production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full purchase order process from request through to delivery.
• Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers, especially Chinese manufacturers, to understand their production capabilities.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to secure best value.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock‑taking activities and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure timely procurement to meet short lead‑time orders and production demands.
• Utilize computer systems to record purchasing data, generate reports and track supplier performance.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while working under pressure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes, supplier sourcing and purchase order management.
• Understanding of inventory management and stock control.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience working with both local and international suppliers.
• Familiarity with plastic and glass products is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems for purchasing data management and reporting.
