Procurement Specialist

About the role

AGRANA Fruit is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials and packaging for its food production operations in Obour City. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective procurement while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all foreign and local procurement activities for raw materials and packaging.
• Execute daily procurement operations, including sourcing, negotiating, and issuing purchase orders.
• Monitor and follow up material deliveries with planning, sales and other stakeholders.
• Prepare local and global monthly procurement reports.
• Coordinate supplier payments and financial requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align procurement decisions with business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• Up to 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and document‑management tools.
• Experience using virtual communication platforms.
