Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist supports daily procurement activities, ensuring that goods and services are sourced efficiently, contracts are managed correctly, and vendor performance meets company standards. This role works closely with internal departments and external suppliers to deliver timely, cost‑effective, and policy‑compliant purchasing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to gather pricing data, identify qualified suppliers, and assess their suitability.
• Monitor market trends, report cost‑saving opportunities, and support supplier negotiations across categories such as hospitality, logistics, and third‑party services.
• Track supplier performance on delivery, quality, and reliability, escalating issues when necessary.
• Draft and review procurement agreements, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Process purchase orders from creation to receipt verification, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organized procurement records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements, negotiate pricing, and document outcomes for reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or purchase order processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with managers and stakeholders.
