Procurement Team Leader – Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Team Leader to head our procurement function for construction projects in Heliopolis, Cairo. You will be responsible for driving cost‑effective sourcing while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the procurement team, setting priorities and performance targets.
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors, negotiate prices and contract terms.
• Source materials, equipment, and services in line with project specifications.
• Review quotations to secure the best quality‑price balance.
• Track purchase orders and delivery schedules, ensuring on‑time receipt.
• Coordinate closely with Projects, Engineering, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
• Monitor market price trends and develop new supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and approved budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction.
• Proven team‑leadership experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with any ERP is a plus).
