Product Analyst

About the role

The Product Analyst will work within the Digital Enterprise Platform team to understand user and business needs and translate them into actionable product features. Operating in an agile environment, the analyst collaborates closely with product managers, developers, testers and designers to deliver high‑quality digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences and competitive dynamics that influence product strategy.
• Gather and analyse data from customer feedback, usage statistics and other sources to uncover user behaviour and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and present actionable insights to product teams and senior management.
• Collaborate with product managers to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success.
• Work with design, development and testing teams to ensure analytical insights are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, maintaining communication and alignment with the broader team.
• Facilitate user testing sessions, collect direct feedback and prioritise development tasks based on user‑centric insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
• Curiosity and a desire to deeply understand business processes.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure accuracy in requirements and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strategic thinking to influence product decisions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of financial planning products, particularly Anaplan.
• Ability to convert business requirements into features or user stories.
• Experience building user interfaces and user experiences.
• Competence in managing data health, ensuring timely data delivery, fixing data issues and conducting root‑cause analysis.
• Experience in finance‑focused product backlog management and delivery.
