Product Engineer

About the role

The Product Engineer will own the technical integrity of vehicle builds, ensuring that product definitions, part applications, and engineering documentation are accurate and ready for local production. Reporting full‑time to the General Manager office, this onsite role acts as the central communication hub between local operations and global engineering partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CKD program planning and readiness across engineering, localization, and production timelines.
• Maintain accurate EPLs, pre‑production BOMs, and product data in SAP.
• Investigate and resolve build issues, part mismatches, and engineering discrepancies during prototype, pilot, and production phases.
• Drive engineering change management, ensuring controlled and aligned implementation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, material flow, quality, suppliers, and global partners to secure timely corrective actions.
• Support trial builds, PPV, MVB, NS build, and SOP readiness by early identification of engineering concerns.
• Track open engineering issues, action plans, and status to guarantee closure before subsequent milestones.
• Build and maintain KPI and status dashboards, including Power BI reporting, to highlight program health and risks.

• Ability to work cross‑functionally with manufacturing, quality, and supply‑chain teams.
