Production Coordinator

About the role

As a Production Coordinator at Kotn, you will join the Supply Chain team to oversee the bulk manufacturing of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring alignment with product strategy, sustainability standards and market demand. This is a full‑time, on‑site position.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full order lifecycle from purchase order issuance to delivery and shipping, including buy confirmation and vendor negotiation.
• Analyse vendor capacity and capability to guarantee timely delivery of the right product.
• Prepare Time & Action plans for each order/program and conduct daily follow‑up to meet target delivery dates.
• Update order progress in Kotn’s systems, manage work‑in‑progress and purchase order changes.
• Collaborate closely with factories, conduct weekly on‑site visits in Egypt or virtual meetings with overseas factories, and resolve production issues.
• Train vendors on Kotn’s production, logistics policies, processes and IT systems, and roll out new procedures as needed.
• Assist in forecasting future orders and support materials and vendor sourcing activities.
• Manage material and accessory ordering, track fabric and trim deliveries, and follow up on liability SOPs.
• Review and submit vendor invoices, reconcile with Accounts Payable, and handle invoice discrepancies.
• Coordinate shipping bookings, negotiate freight costs, and ensure shipment documents are submitted to the Logistics & Distribution team.
• Maintain strong communication with factories, product development, and quality control teams, and build cross‑functional relationships.

• Proactive problem‑solver capable of leading issue resolution and implementing short‑ and long‑term solutions.
