Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer will manage the full production cycle of a newly launched furniture line, from design receipt to final delivery. You will ensure smooth operations, maintain quality standards, and drive efficiency in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end production processes, including upholstery, cutting, assembly, and finishing.
• Coordinate with design and technical teams to guarantee accurate execution of specifications.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities and timelines.
• Maintain quality standards across all production stages.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply‑chain teams to secure material availability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
• Prepare and analyse production reports and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, upholstery, or related sectors (office furniture, automotive seating).
• Strong knowledge of full production cycles and quality control.
• Experience with root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented mindset with a good command of English.
