Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Manager will lead manufacturing activities across all shifts, ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for driving production discipline, continuous improvement, and achieving operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain 5S, Lean initiatives, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production operations to meet targets, optimise resources and reduce bottlenecks.
• Supervise, train and develop production personnel, conduct performance assessments and manage team growth.
• Oversee manufacturing processes such as wire drawing, stranding, extrusion (PVC, LDPE, HDPE, XLPE) and armoring.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects to boost productivity, efficiency, yield and product quality.
• Monitor product standards, quality‑control programmes and production parameters.
• Manage equipment maintenance, troubleshoot operational issues and recommend facility or machinery upgrades.
• Collect, review and analyse production data to support performance enhancement and decision‑making.
• Control production costs, improve profitability and contribute to departmental objectives.
• Build collaborative relationships across functions to drive ideas and improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 10–15 years of proven experience in production, manufacturing operations or plant management.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning.
• Data‑driven decision‑making.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge (certification a plus).
• Six Sigma methodology (certification a plus).
• Project Management skills (certification a plus).
