Production Pharmacist

About the role

The Production Pharmacist is responsible for operating multiple manufacturing machines while ensuring strict compliance with SOPs and GMPs. The role supports production targets, assists quality and plant investigations, and acts as a liaison between engineering, quality, and external technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all relevant manufacturing policies, processes and SOPs to maintain controlled, consistent work.
• Supervise day‑to‑day operations of production lines and machines, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Operate more than one machine, meeting production targets while adhering to guidelines.
• Coach and train junior staff on simple tasks and SOP compliance.
• Assist quality and plant management in investigations and prepare incident reports.
• Document manufacturing orders and packaging standards in SAP and paper systems.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and reliability problems to ensure continuity.
• Communicate with quality, engineering and external technicians to ensure work progression and compliance.
• Comply with safety, health, quality and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Pharmacy.
• 1‑3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, planning and organization capabilities.
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• SAP documentation.
• Knowledge of GMP and SOP compliance.
• Machine operation in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Incident reporting and investigation.
