Production Pharmacist – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Production Pharmacist to join our manufacturing team, ensuring that pharmaceutical products are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves overseeing daily operations on the production floor and providing scientific guidance to the staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing unit activities such as dispensing, blending, compression, and filling, ensuring adherence to batch records and SOPs.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert to troubleshoot process and equipment issues, investigating material properties and formulation behavior.
• Participate in deviation investigations, assess product quality impact, and support root‑cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Perform real‑time and final review of batch records, confirming data accuracy and proper documentation before release to QA.
• Deliver training on pharmaceutical principles, cGMP requirements, and specific SOPs to production personnel.
• Assist in process development, modification, validation, and technology transfer for new products.
• Manage handling, storage, and usage of raw materials, intermediates, and APIs throughout manufacturing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Chemistry.
• 0‑2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (2+ years for senior level).
• Understanding of cGMP, SOP compliance, and batch record documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
