Production Shift Leader

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Production Shift Leader to oversee daily manufacturing operations in North Africa. The role ensures production targets are met while maintaining product quality, food safety, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily shift reports and align production with the Annual Operating Plan.
• Distribute quantities and brands across production lines and coordinate with logistics.
• Lead the team through training, instructions, and KPI monitoring.
• Apply food safety and hygiene standards to protect personnel and equipment.
• Conduct new‑hire orientation and ongoing training.
• Control costs by reducing manufacturing overhead and direct expenses.
• Ensure product quality and food safety compliance.
• Prepare and submit shift, daily, and monthly reports to the Production Manager.
• Provide daily communication and training for labor force.
• Manage external audits (AIB, IPS, ERP) and set daily plans with logistics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production scheduling and shift management.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and quality assurance.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate production teams.
• Experience handling cost‑control initiatives and audit preparation.
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
