Program Manager – Head of PMO

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to establish and lead our Project Management Office (PMO) as part of a digital banking transformation. The role will oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives, align them with business objectives, and ensure delivery excellence across multiple workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and lead the PMO, defining governance frameworks, methodologies, standards and reporting structures.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic business and technology initiatives, prioritising projects, monitoring inter‑dependencies, risks and resource allocation.
• Partner with executive leadership and stakeholders to define priorities, provide regular updates and facilitate decision‑making.
• Monitor project health, milestones, budgets and resource utilisation, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and capacity planning, ensuring optimal use of project management resources.
• Drive organisational change management activities linked to major initiatives and promote best practices in delivery.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in project and program management.
• 5+ years leading PMO functions or enterprise‑wide programs.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and influencing abilities.
