Program Manager – PMO Lead for Digital Banking Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager / Head of PMO to establish, lead, and continuously improve project and program governance across our organization. The role will oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives within a digital banking transformation journey, ensuring alignment between business objectives and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and define governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, and reporting structures.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic business and technology initiatives, prioritising projects, monitoring interdependencies, risks, resources and delivery timelines.
• Partner with executive leadership and stakeholders to define strategic priorities, provide regular updates and facilitate decision‑making.
• Monitor project health, milestones, budgets and resource utilisation, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across product, engineering, operations, data and infrastructure teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and capacity planning, ensuring optimal utilisation of project management resources.
• Drive organisational change management activities associated with major initiatives and promote best practices in project delivery.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in project and program management.
• 5+ years leading PMO functions or enterprise‑wide programs.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale technology transformation initiatives, preferably in banking, financial services or fintech.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, leadership and team‑mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
