Project Control Specialist - French Speaker

About the role

The Project Control Specialist will oversee the full project control cycle for engineering and construction projects, ensuring cost and schedule performance aligns with contractual agreements. This role requires bilingual fluency in English and French and the ability to work across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Set up projects and monitor budgets using an Oracle project‑management system.
• Track hours, expenses, costs and update budgets throughout project execution.
• Participate in regular meetings with project managers and stakeholders to monitor progress and scope changes.
• Manage cost allocations related to procurement and coordinate with discipline managers.
• Own project schedules, coordinate inputs, and maintain resource‑loaded baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Sequence engineering, procurement and construction tasks and integrate vendor schedule submissions.
• Perform earned‑value analysis to identify deviations from the baseline and support periodic control reporting.
• Plan subsequent project phases and track schedule changes in line with client processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
• 5‑10 years of experience in an engineering or construction environment.
• Professional fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently or within a team.
• Flexibility to support projects in UK, Canada or USA time zones.
