About the role
The Project Coordinator will act as the local lead supporting the Program Manager in delivering daily activities across a central bank, financial institutions, vendors and internal delivery teams. The role ensures smooth execution, strong governance and effective stakeholder communication.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings, workshops and site visits with banks, fintech vendors and internal teams; maintain stakeholder lists and follow‑up on actions.
- Prepare agendas, minutes, action trackers and support RAID logs, issue tracking, dependencies and milestone documentation.
- Monitor rollout progress, flag delays early and support onboarding, training, UAT/pilot activities and readiness sign‑offs.
- Act as day‑to‑day liaison with financial institutions, tracking readiness, collecting feedback and ensuring issue closure.
- Manage local logistics, procurement and translation (Arabic/English) for events and visits.
- Maintain document control, approvals, audit and compliance records.
- Facilitate communication between Arabic‑speaking stakeholders and international teams.
- Identify risks, blockers and dependencies, supporting escalation and resolution.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination, PMO or delivery support within large banking, payments or fintech programmes.
- Strong organisational, follow‑up and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Professional, discreet, detail‑oriented and proactive, comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
- Bilingual capability to work with Arabic‑speaking stakeholders.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with project artefacts such as RAID logs, plans and reports.
