Project Engineer NW – French Speaker

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Project Engineer to lead engineering projects in water and wastewater treatment. You will work closely with sales, customers, and internal teams to deliver high‑quality equipment solutions from concept through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage engineering projects, ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer specifications.
• Liaise with sales representatives and customers during the discovery phase and throughout project execution.
• Handle contract negotiations, ordering, logistics, delivery, and commissioning of equipment.
• Monitor testing and assembly at supplier facilities or on‑site, and prepare data sheets, RFQs, drawings, installation sketches, and O&M manuals.
• Coordinate activities with Equipment Project Support, Service Technicians, and third‑party DBI partners.
• Generate project documentation such as scopes of work, method statements, risk assessments, technical sheets, and maintenance protocols.
• Participate in trials, start‑ups, and provide training to sales staff and customers.
• Submit weekly/monthly project status reports and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of field experience in water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Strong communication skills in English and French.
• Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations and engineering standards.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time).
