Project Manager – Core Banking

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of critical initiatives for our core banking systems and digital banking platform. The role requires strong expertise in managing complex software projects within the banking sector, coordinating cross‑functional technical teams, and ensuring delivery of secure, enterprise‑scale solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of core banking software projects, defining scope, timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and business stakeholders to align objectives and facilitate communication.
• Manage the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Monitor milestones, risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Guarantee compliance with banking regulations and security standards.
• Provide regular progress, risk and performance updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in software project management, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise software projects.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly valued.

Required skills

• Experience with core banking platforms (e.g., Temenos T24, Oracle FLEXCUBE).
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum or hybrid delivery models.
• Project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2).
