Project Manager – Joinery & Fitout

About the role

The Project Manager will lead joinery and fit‑out projects from award through handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Acting as the main point of contact, you will coordinate all project activities and maintain strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocations for each assignment.
• Manage day‑to‑day execution, monitoring milestones and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Track project budgets, prepare monthly cost reports and mitigate any cost overruns.
• Lead site engineers, foremen and subcontractors, and coordinate material deliveries with the factory/workshop.
• Serve as primary liaison for clients, consultants and contractors, handling expectations and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations through site inspections and defect remediation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including drawings, submittals and variation orders, and provide regular progress updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related discipline.
• 7‑10 years of project management experience in joinery, fit‑out or construction.
• PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing and installation processes.
• Experience working in the GCC market is preferred.
