Project Manager – Master Data Management (MDM) Project

About the role

LDC Link Data Center is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a Master Data Management (MDM) implementation for a leading East African bank. You will be the primary liaison between the client and delivery teams, ensuring the project meets its timeline, quality, and budget objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and delivery plans.
• Serve as the main point of contact for client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively track and manage risks, issues, and scope changes.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, obtain sign‑offs, and oversee go‑live activities.
• Prepare project dashboards and executive status reports for senior management.
• Ensure service level agreements and delivery standards are consistently met.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• At least 2 years managing banking or financial‑services IT projects.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise data or core banking solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
