Public Area Attendant

About the role

The Public Area Attendant ensures that all public spaces of Rixos Premium Seagate hotel are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff. Working across restaurants, bars, lobbies, and ballrooms, you will maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including corridors, changing rooms, restaurants, toilets, and administrative offices.
• Wash windows, mop floors, treat marble surfaces, and vacuum carpets and curtains.
• Arrange and move furniture, clean chairs, and wipe walls and ceilings.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, and transport supplies from storage as needed.
• Empty garbage bins, handle lost‑and‑found items, and report any suspicious persons or packages.
• Support emergency response teams and report any equipment breakdowns.
• Participate in vocational training, follow security procedures, and promote energy‑saving and environmental practices.

Required profile

• Clean, friendly, and hygienic appearance.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks assigned by senior staff.
• Willingness to attend training and take part in emergency response activities.
• Awareness of security methods and environmental sustainability practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard cleaning techniques and use of housekeeping equipment.
• Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures in a hotel environment.
