About the role
Creative Closets is looking for a Purchasing Officer to manage the procurement of wood and hardware materials for its wooden dressing rooms and kitchen projects. The role ensures a steady supply of high‑quality components to keep production running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with suppliers in the wood and hardware industry.
- Monitor inventory levels and guarantee continuous availability of materials for production.
- Follow up on requests from the technical office and designers, securing multiple sources for required items.
- Maintain inventory control to avoid production interruptions.
- Coordinate with the technical office and designers to fulfill material requests on time.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years of purchasing experience, preferably in furniture, kitchens, or the wood industry.
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills in the wood materials market.
- Good knowledge of MDF, melamine, HPL, plywood, edge band, and hardware accessories.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- ERP knowledge (preferred).
