QC Operator – Quality Control for Audio/Video Content

About the role

The QC Operator ensures the quality of digitized audio and video content, preventing issues for players and operators. Working closely with QA specialists and production managers, the role guarantees that deliverables meet client standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Verify audio/video content based on statistical groups to detect defects, anomalies, and quality issues.
• Compare digitized files with original carriers to identify problems caused by equipment or operators.
• Use the customer’s QC tool and assisted QC software to locate and correct migration errors.
• Document problem timings and frequency, and report findings using QC forms.
• Escalate critical issues to the supervisor and follow ISMS security procedures.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience with audiovisual formats and related tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under repetitive or pressure conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork within an international environment.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of audiovisual formats, codecs, and signal integrity.
• Proficiency with media editing and quality control (QC) tools.
• Basic knowledge of metadata handling and preservation formats.
