Quality Control Specialist - Incoming Materials

About the role

Arcera, a global life sciences company developing, manufacturing and commercializing medicines, is hiring a Quality Control Specialist for incoming materials sampling at its factory in El Obour City, Egypt. The post reports to the Quality Control Section Head and covers inspection, sampling and identification of incoming raw and packaging materials to ensure compliance with specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, sample and identify incoming raw and packaging materials according to the required specifications, and review these activities.
• Prepare and review all documents required for sampling incoming materials.
• Carry out and review daily calibration of sampling equipment and check that the sampling room complies with cGMP requirements.
• Record inspection results in the SAP system.
• Take part in preparing the annual purchasing plan for reagents and tools needed for sampling.
• Take part in investigations into out-of-specification items related to inspection, sampling and identification of incoming materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Science (Chemistry).
• 0 to 2 years of work experience.
• Good knowledge of GMP.
• Very good English.
