Quality Engineer (M/F)

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join TSO’s High‑Speed Rail project in Egypt (Ain Sokha – El Alamein). The role will support the construction and renovation of railway infrastructure, ensuring that all materials, processes and products comply with the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality standards and control systems for railway construction.
• Monitor and analyse quality performance, producing accurate reports.
• Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes and finished products.
• Define general and specific quality requirements for project deliverables.
• Create manual and automated software tests to identify functionality issues.
• Analyse test results and communicate corrective actions to relevant teams.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings to discuss quality‑related issues.
• Identify non‑conformities, initiate corrective actions and verify their completion.
• Develop quality control plans to prevent defects before production.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of railway construction principles and best practices.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
