Quality Engineer – Production Line Inspection

About the role

CairoPac is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee production line performance at its can manufacturing facility in 6th of October, Giza. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, minimizing waste, and resolving customer and machine issues through systematic analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect production lines to verify compliance with plans and report findings.
• Generate daily waste and breakdown reports for can lines.
• Receive and resolve customer complaints by coordinating with production and conducting field visits.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of quality issues and propose corrective actions.
• Supervise raw material receipt and finished goods dispatch, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Oversee the quality controller, conduct sample measurements, and verify machine specifications.
• Monitor shipments to customers, taking samples to confirm compliance with specifications.
• Hand over shifts with comprehensive updates and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in quality engineering or production quality control.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports and communicate with managers and customers.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and standard quality procedures.
