Quality & Hygiene Officer

About the role

The Quality & Hygiene Officer ensures that all food and beverage operations at Rixos Premium Seagate meet the highest standards of safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance. You will lead training, monitoring and corrective actions to protect guests and maintain the hotel's reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify training needs for the Food Safety System and deliver targeted sessions.
• Support process owners in preparing required documents and quality records.
• Lead periodic control, monitoring and validation activities across receiving, storage, preparation and service areas.
• Conduct routine checks on cleaning, personal hygiene and personnel practices.
• Collect and analyse samples of food, water, surfaces and personnel hands for microbiological and other laboratory tests.
• Report and manage non‑conforming products, emergencies, recalls and guest complaints related to food safety.
• Coordinate internal and external food safety audits, including those conducted by tour operators.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and standards applicable to food safety.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food safety or hygiene management within a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of local and international food safety regulations.
• Ability to train staff, lead audits and communicate corrective actions effectively.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
