Quality Lead – Knorr

About the role

The Knorr Quality Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the site Quality Management System, ensuring product quality and safety across all operations. This role works within Unilever’s inclusive and collaborative environment, driving continuous improvement and compliance with ISO 9001 and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and sustain the Site Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, food‑safety regulations and company policies.
• Act as the authority on product quality and safety, identifying and mitigating non‑conformance risks.
• Develop, maintain and apply DFMEA and PFMEA for all products and processes.
• Define and execute Quality Control Plans based on risk assessments.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain and Maintenance to embed quality requirements in daily operations.
• Support new product introductions and process changes to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Manage supplier quality, including inspections, audits and corrective actions.
• Track and analyse Quality KPIs and KAIs, leading continuous‑improvement projects.
• Plan and lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing or food‑production environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, food‑safety standards and legal directives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive risk‑based decision making.
• Excellent analytical skills for KPI monitoring, trend analysis and root‑cause investigations.
