Receivables Accountant – Hurghada

About the role

The Receivables Accountant will be responsible for managing daily sales transactions, customer collections and receivables records for the Hurghada site. Working closely with the Cairo Finance Team, the role ensures accurate financial reporting and supports the Site Technical Team with day‑to‑day financial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile daily sales transactions at the assigned site.
• Review sales records and counter readings to ensure accuracy.
• Handle customer collections, advance payments and follow‑up on customer accounts.
• Maintain receivables records and support collection activities.
• Monitor site operating expenses and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage the site’s petty cash in line with company policies.
• Coordinate daily with the Cairo Finance Team, providing required supporting information.
• Participate in the monthly financial closing process by reconciling and closing site accounts.
• Report directly to the Cairo Finance Team while supporting the Site Technical Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Preference for experience in utility, infrastructure, construction or water‑treatment companies.
• Resident of Hurghada / Red Sea Governorate.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Egyptian tax regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity and ability to work under pressure.
